Testimony of Ms. Anika Therese Dolor
It has always been a joy for me to be able to inspire and train young individuals- to help them discover their God-given potentials and to compel them to be developed into the identity that God has marked them with. But as they say, you can only give out of the abundance that you carry with you.
The School of Tomorrow’s vision of training Godly leaders with moral integrity and excellent academic foundation can only be carried through if there is a strong connection with the materials used and the way it is used. The binding force in-between that I think would be us, the educators. Thus, the Educators’ Convention provided yearly is a great avenue for us to be well-versed with the current trends in the field, new and effective ways to meet the needs of our learners, associate with other schools on how they pursue their vision despite the challenges that arise, and revisit the “why” behind the “yes” that still pushes us to continue forward. I could still add on to the list but honestly sometimes after hearing all the sessions, what really moves me to say yes again to this calling is not solely the lessons learned but more of the testimonies that mark the people I see running together with the vision. Looking at Rev. Delbert Hooge, Pastor Erich Santos, the speakers, the field representatives, my colleagues in the Academy, even my parents who are also in the education field and their lives laid down for this cause, I am even more persuaded to be faithful in pursuit of Godly education. “Here Am I, Lord, establishing your kingdom through Christian education”.
